Screw the corners and attach a screw right through the four corners. Now take the other four strips and again place them on top of the previous frame. Explore our selection of trellis panels and lattice fence panels, perfect for growing climb plants in your garden. Drill in 2 screws on each side of the frame. We carry large stocks of pressure treated trellis - in square/rectangular The whole range is made to imperial dimensions - so they are all 6 feet or 1.83 metres wide - and vary in height from 315mm (12 inches) right up to 1830mm (6 feet). These should be about 4 inches in width each. All our Square Lattice - Trellis Panel Range is constructed from overlapping 16mm x 32mm battens. You will need eight strips to build your frame. Having hammered all the staples, take the screwdriver and using the tip, hammer the staples into the wood. Turn it upside down and bend the staples with the hammer. Make a border, using four strips around the lattice to maintain this one whole. It might happen that when fastening the strips with staples, the latter tend to penetrate through the two strips. Having finished doing so, start stapling all strips together. Use the template to gain the same width from one strip to another. Continue placing the strips alongside until you fill in the rectangle. At this stage, it is advisable to fasten this strip with a staple at both ends. Take another strip and place it across the bottom layer of the slats. At this stage be careful not to bump the strips as otherwise you will have to restart again. All strips are to be cut at a 45-degree angle. Now that you have the first two strips aligned, use the template mentioned in step 1 and continue placing strip by strip diagonally until you fill in the rectangle. This will automatically provide you with a template for the width between the two strips. A good tip is now to have a piece of wood of a width of 4 inches and place it on both strips. ![]() Take a second strip of wood and lay 2 inches away from the first strip. Now taking a strip of wood one inch in width, place diagonally on the board and cut at a 45-degree angle on both sides. Draw a rectangle with a size of 2 feet by 1½ feet. Place a board of hardboard on a worktable or a flat surface. This pergola is not available as a material only kit. Here we will be constructing a wooden square lattice of about 2 feet by 1½ feet. ![]() We only service the above listed areas of Northern Ohio. #SQUARE LATTICE FENCE PANELS FREE#Contact one of our estimators for a free appointment to discuss design and pricing options.ĭon't be fooled by our name - Elyria Fence has been pleased to offer our pergolas for installation in the following Ohio cities for 84 years: Akron, Amherst, Ashland, Avon, Avon Lake, Bainbridge, Bath, Bay Village, Beachwood, Bedford Heights, Belden, Bellevue, Berea, Berlin Heights, Birmingham, Boston Heights, Bratenahl, Brecksville, Broadview Heights, Brooklyn/Old Brooklyn, Brookpark, Brunswick, Carlisle Township, Castalia, Catawba, Chipewa On The Lake, Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Columbia Station, Copley, Creston,, Eaton, Elyria,, Fairview Park, Fairlawn, Friendsville, Garfield Heights, Gates Mills, Grafton, Hinckley, Homerville, Huron, Hudson, Independence, Kelly's Island, Kipton, LaGrange, Lakeside Marblehead, Lakewood, LaPorte, Litchfield, Lodi, Lorain, Lyndhurst, Macedonia, Maple Heights, Medina, Milan, Monroeville, New London, New Russia Township, Northfield, North Olmsted, North Ridgeville, North Royalton, Norwalk, Oakwood, Oberlin, Ohio City, Olmsted Falls, Parma, Penfield Township, Peninsula, Pepper Pike, Pittsfield, Polk, Port Clinton, Put-In-Bay, Richfield,, Rittman, Rochester, Rocky River, Sagamore Hills, Salem, Sandusky, Seville, Shaker Heights, Sharon Center, Sheffield, Sheffield Lake, Sheffield Township, Sheffield Village, Solon, South Amherst, South, Spencer, Strongsville, Stow, Tremont, University Heights, Valley City, Valley View, Vermilion, Wadsworth, Wakeman, Wellington, Westlake, West Salem, Woodmere.
